The new girl Sonam Kapoor has charms and ways to steal hearts but isn't she stepping too fast and trying to fit in the shoes way ahead to time.
Well referring to the hyped L'Oreal campaign that
this 20 something girl took away from Aishwarya Rai. Isn't Sonam Kapoor
too young to be endorsing a brand like L'Oreal? Yes it is one of the
best beauty product brands in the world but also run a check on the
International brand ambassadors they all are at least 30 and some of
them above 40. Run through names like Andie McDowell, Eva Longoria,
Elizabeth Banks, Jane Fonda, Pierce Brosnan, Mathew Fox, Milla
Jovovich, Michelle Yeoh etc and back in India Aishwarya Rai and Diana
Hyden . All these beauties have been associated with the brand and there
average age is about a decade more than Sonam Kapoor's age. Just ask
your friends around (girls only) as to how many of them who are in 20s
use L'Oreal... probably one or two. L'Oreal itself has a younger band
for that age bracket "Maybelline" then why is Sonam Kapoor endorsing a
product that is unsuited for the age? Has it got something to do with
professional rivalry with Deepika Padukone who became the ambassador
for Maybelline in 2007 itself?
What so
ever be the reason for singing a deal with L'Oreal the beauties must
also consider matching their personality and age with that of the brand
after all it's the age of professional marketing and All of want to be
Worth It!
Sonam L"Oreal deal smells of professional rivalry with Deepika Padukone who became the ambassador for Maybelline in 2007.
