Dance India Dance 23 May 2009 - Mother Earth and Mithun Da Ruled the Show

The cocept dance today was based on two themes first up was Mother Earth and second was Mithun Da's iconic dance numbers.

Jai did a Roudra Tandav in full Shiva get up followed by Salman who did an amazing butterfly act. Salman caught the real distress that is being cause to the environment with today's frenzy and least care to Mother Nature. Siddhesh was a good performance was based on a human journey with out giving credit to nature and then realizing the mistakes. Alisha did wonderful in the Nature performance and gave serious competition to the guys with full on stunts and flying around. Sabse Khoobsurat Dancer of the evening was won by Salman for his Butterfly act. The second competition was Super Dancer and was won by Alisha, this challenge was to dance like Mithun Da without making a mockery out of his pioneered dance style. Jai yet again was awesome with his I am Uni Krishnan Yam Yae...it was a fun filled performance. Siddhesh did a perfect I am a disco dancer and Alisha was cutely dancing to Jimmy Jimmy Aaja Aaja. And Salman did the dance on inline skates. So all together a wonderful dance filled evening! And all the Top 12 are back on the show... they danced with Mithun Da for the grand closure!

Next week is the Finale of Dance India Dance and one dancers from these Top 4 will not only claim the Golden Hat but also fifty lacs cash and contract of a movie! There is a lot to be won and at some level all are winners since most of them have become a known face.
