Dance Premier League Semi Finals 18th 19th December 2009

Rani Mukherjee television debut went kaput as did Dance Premier League and its novice reality dance show concept though the fault was not of the talent on the show but the sad choreographers none the less its semi final times on Dance Premier League 18 December.


rani_dpl_walkout.jpgThe level of dance on Dance Premier League sadden the audiences who have seen so much more on Zee Tv Dance India Dance, if the comparison is just with Jhalak Dikhla Ja or Nach Baliye yes defiantly Dance Premier League went a step further but the benchmark is already set too high. Choreographers have come out as the biggest losers from this show since most of their choreographed songs are worst off then impromptu wedding dances.

 

dpl_logo_red.jpgIt is agitating that one of India's best dancing talents Shaimak Davar is not these choreographers to pull up their socks. After all it's a dance competition that is professionally choreographed for national viewership but alas all that gets seen is some kid jumping around with prop all the time. Why there is no dance simple dance no jumps no lifts pure beat to beat dance. 18 December is Dance Premier League Semi Finals and it's good that the wrap up has come just in time before Dance India Dance 2 Makes monster waves.

 

DPL Choreographers have emerged biggest losers as most of their choreographed dances are worst off than impromptu shaking a leg or two!
