Every year when the Oscar season start there is just one nagging question that is unanswered, what will it take to get Tom Cruise an Oscar? His past lady loves have been lucky with the Man in Gold statue but no not him. Never ever, not even when he was his charming best in Jerry Maguire and Few Good Men.  The best run to Oscar for Tom was for Jerry
Maguire but the academy gave away best supporting actor to Cuba Gooding Jr. for the same
movie and inhibited to acknowledge Tom even though he was a deserving
contender for Best Actor. He has done remarkably well not only in these
two movies but in array of movies. He is also known to be the top 100
celebs in the world of all times. And if one contests that he is not an
actor enough then get your movie viewing sensibility some reality check
with movie like Rain Man, Born of fourth of July, Top Gun, The color of
money besides the above mentioned. Wonder if the Academy wants to give
Tom Cruise a Life Time achievement award some two decades from now.
