Video Details - click to subscribe to clevvermusic! the strokes are taking the snl stage. find out details up next! welcome back to clevvermusic, i'm you host bridget daly. now you snl fans have likely been alllll over the fact that miley cyrus is hosting saturday night live this weekend. and the musical guests for the evening are none other than the strokes, which is....pretty cool. julian casablancas and the band appeared in a promo with miley and cast member kristen wiig this week, talking about how cool is it to be getting the opportunity. wiig then says she'd kill to have been able to host the show at such a young age, to which miley responds, "who says i didn't?" there's speculation the band will perform "undercover of darkness," their first single off of angles, which comes out march 22nd. the video for the song just came out last week, showing each band member playing in different areas of a big palace, and by the end, the whole band is together, onstage at a symphonic concert hall. no word on what the second snl performance will be for the evening , but stay tuned, because it'll no doubt be pretty cool!!! for more music updates, remember to follow us on twitter @clevvermusic . i'm bridget daly, signing off for now!
