Mahayatra Starts 18 January 2010 - New Rabbit Out of Star Plus Hat

Star Plus has found its viewership niche in tier b cities and is rolling out shows after shows targeting audiences with deep rooted Indian Mindset. Mahayatra - Rishton Ka Anokha Safar is on the same lines where a doting son makes way through hardship for his parent's char dham pilgrimage.

 

It is alarming to notice that only sons are tussling in Mahayatra the reality cum religious show where as a daughter is no where in the picture. Very unlike Star Plus star_pluslogo_myatra.gifserial Shraddha where the girl provides for her parents pilgrimage wishes, this show is expected to go off air to provide spot for Mahayatra starting 18 January on Star Plus. Though the question continues why are women portrayed in dim light as compared to men? Even Pratigya the latest show on Star Plus was about a girl who is bold enough to stand for her right but now all that is there left in the show is the protagonist's wedding? And now Star Plus launches Mahayatra a son's struggle to render his parent's pilgrimage wishes beginning 18 January on Star Plus.
