Music Ka Maha Muqabla or Star Plus Ka Maha Competition with Zee TV Mega Challenge

Wars of Words and talent reality shows have become the latest battle ground for TV Biggies. Star Plus has directly hit upon Zee Tv's Mega Challenge and conceptualized Music Ka Maha Muqabla by replacing Mega with Maha and Challenge with Muqabla.

Even the core concept is same where six teams will compete under Captains and state wise representation and the contestantsmaha_muqabla.jpg are the winner of past singing reality show across other tv channels. Six captains leading the teams of Maha Muqabla are Shaan, Mohit Chauhan, Mika, Shankar Mahadevan, Himesh Reshamiya and Shreya Goshal. These six teams will have three more contestants under the Captains hood and they are also known faces and heard voices like Debojit Saha, Harshit Saxena, Toshi, Raja Hassan, Himani Kapoor, and Aishwarya Majumdar. Music Ka Maha Muqabla is due to start on Star Plus once the wedding planning on Lux Perfect Bride is over by December 2009.


TRP hogging desperations got meaner where the TV channels are not only stealing concepts but twisting show names also... Zee Mega Challenge or Star Plus Maha Muqabla!
